Peterka Bohuslav

doc. Ing. Bohuslav Peterka, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Department of Quality and Reliability of Machines at the Faculty of Engineering of the Czech University of Life Sciences (CULS) in Prague. He has been working at CULS since 2003, when he started as a senior computer technician. He completed his postgraduate doctoral studies in Agricultural Engineering between 2003 and 2006. He has been working as an assistant professor since 2007.
His habilitation thesis from 2024 focuses on the topic of "Diagnostic measurements and their application in the field of machine maintenance and operation." He is the guarantor of subjects such as "Machine Maintenance and Repair Technology."
As part of his scientific and research activities, Dr. Peterka specializes in diagnostic measurements and their practical application. He is the co-author of two patents and ten utility models.
He is active in professional organizations; since 2021, he has been a lecturer and chairman of the supervisory board of the Czech Maintenance Society, and since 2022, he has been a member of the EFNMS – ETC European Training Committee.
