Dr Thanasis Naskos

Thanasis Naskos holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Cloud Resource Elasticity. After completing his academic studies, he joined Atlantis Engineering in 2018 as the leading Data Scientist in the R&D department. In this role, he led the implementation and deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies across various research projects. Over the past six years, he has built a strong expertise in predictive maintenance, applying his skills to commercial applications including cold-forming, material processing, robotic arms, vehicles, HVAC systems, and insulation materials. Currently, as Chief Innovation Officer, Thanasis oversees the development of Sibyl, Atlantis Engineering’s Industry 4.0 platform. His work is grounded in his deep interests in predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and distributed and streaming data management, driving forward the advancement of modern industrial technologies
